The excitement of having a hummingbird sit and feed on your wand while holding it in your hand is one of life's incredible joys. When they are feeding in your area, hang the wand outside with your other feeders so that the birds get used to its presence. Then when you want to hand feed, take the other feeders down and put them out of site. Next hold the wand where they were feedeing earlier. You'll be surprised how easily they will come down to feed at your wand.
