Bird Baths

Providing a source of water for birds at any time of year is one of the most important things you can do as a backyard birder. Not only do birds drink from the bath, they use water to keep themselves clean and to keep their feathers from getting matted down and allowing cold to penetrate through. Of course, some birds love splashing around in a bath simply because it’s fun! Like a toddler splashing around in a rain puddle, most of our feathered friends just can’t resist…getting their feet wet.
