We are a small family business operating out of St. Louis, Missouri. The company began in 1975 with the creation of the Mandarin Bird Feeder. The Squirrel-Proof Mandarin Bird Feeder was designed by St. Louis artist, James Fisher. This is the original Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder of it’s kind. Together he and his friend Frederick Taussig, a plastics engineer developed what is know today as the Mandarin. Today the Taussig/Bush Family continues the tradition of service, quality products and innovation.
